i have not yet heard from any of my friends in Akita, nor has my friend heard from her family in Miyagi. i do pray they are safe, nearly all of the survivors in the area are w/o electricity or running water. phone lines are down all over.

i said numerous prayers last night that somehow the nuclear power plant has minimal damage.

and i honestly feel sickened that i must say this, but to those who think this is a joke: i pray to the high heavens that no one EVER treats you with such cruelty as you have just displayed. to those claiming celebrities are dead: yes, they are celebrities with thousands of annoying fan girls, but they are still someone’s child! someone’s brother or sister, aunt or uncle, friend to many. Would you honestly wish for someone to lose a brother or friend? to those making up names and obituaries: you do not know whether or not this person is real. you do not know who is viewing your blog! you may write the name of one of the friends i am looking for; and if i contact you grief-ridden over her death, how are you going to answer to me? to those who think this is justice for Pearl Harbor: i am sorry to say this, but you are just a mindless drone.

use your brain people! the world is all linked! have some compassion.
